Bye, mom! I'm off to the gym.

Emily turned 16 months last week. I love this age! It's all about exploring and imitation and independence. As she walks, or rather runs, through the house, she always has a purse, a bag, or a baby doll on her arm. She's usually fully accessorized as well. Hats, borrowed shoes, bracelets, whatever she can find from the dress up bin. I'm pretty sure she gets her flare for fashion from Miss Ava.
She'd rather be outdoors than anywhere else right now. She jets for every open door to go out or presses her nose against the glass and begs like a puppy. When we
are outside playing, she's capable of prize winning tantrums in protest of going indoors.
Speaking of indoors, she's turned our family room into a playground; with the sofa, table, and chairs as her jungle gym. She climbs, jumps on, and rolls across everything! Ava calls her our "crazy baby". It's a pretty accurate description. She's definitely got a mischievous streak, just this week she emptied a bottle of maple syrup all over the kitchen floor, raided the Easter candy, and most recently she broke through the fireplace barricade while I was making dinner and rubbed herself head to toe with soot.

Here are some random video clips of Emily at the end of her 15th month.
